I'm a Cand. Scient. in Computer Science from Aarhus University. I've been working as a software developer since 2015. My professional interests include distributed data processing and coordination systems (e.g. Apache Storm, Zookeeper, Kafka), computer graphics (rasterized or ray traced) and web development (primarily backend, though also some frontend when necessary).
I'm a big fan of build/deploy automation, extensive automated testing and code review as part of a work process. My primary experience is with object-oriented or functional languages. I am most familiar with Java and the surrounding ecosystem, but have also dipped my toes into other languages and environments.
In my spare time I contribute to open source projects, try to keep up on new technologies/trends, play video games, and spend time with friends and family. Occasionally I'll write toy projects for fun or to learn a new language or framework. I currently live in Aarhus V, Denmark.
